As an Education Counsellor, I see how nature offers infinite opportunities for children to grow as independent, resilient and well-adjusted individuals.

From: France. Speaks: French, English, Dutch and Spanish.

I am a seasoned Education Counsellor and Mediator at Naya Nature. I actively listen to children and make sure they feel at home with us in nature. I always take time to connect with children and parents, considering each child’s personnality and situation. I train our team in the field and together we look after children’s emotional and physical safety. Human and respect for the living are at the heart of everything I do.

I strongly believe our kids belong in nature. This is the best environment for them to grow in. Nature challenges them in every possible way, triggers their curiosity, their creativity, their problem-solving skills. It offers infinite opportunities to develop into independent, resilient and well-adjusted individuals. Using my mediating skills in nature is wonderful. I am not only a mediator for children, but between children and nature.

"When I was a kid, I loved to go fishing for crayfish at the river with my cousins."
"I remember so well my time spent in nature. My recipe to make milk chocolate with soil and water remains a secret. The most important thing was using the right ingredients, otherwise it would never froth… "

During Naya Nature Holiday Camps your child will spend several hours outdoors per day, including guided explorations and free play in nature. Of course, our programmes are adapted to the temperature and weather conditions. During the winter, we adjust indoors and outdoors times accordingly.

Naya Nature adventurers will never be tired of telling you how they built a nest for birds, how they observed a love danse between a butterfly and a frog, how they created a special song for their group, or how they organized endless barefoot races in a sensory staircase. They will be so proud of their I-did-it-myself wood sculptures, carved with real adventurers’ knives called o-pi-nel. These stunning summer moments in nature create friendships and memories for a lifetime….

We will meet rain or shine. Naya Nature provides rain pants. A windbreaker with hood is required. We suggest long comfortable pants that can get dirty and waterproof sneakers rather than rain boots, which are not suitable for climbing or running. As you’ll be in nature, just imitate nature for your clothes: dress like an onion!
